Irena Relyovska-Barton is a master trainer in energy psychology (EFTand Matrix Reimprinting) with EFTMR Academy UK and BADEP (Bulgarian Association for Development of Energy Psychology).
She is the only Bulgarian holding the EFT Academic Certificate given by its creator Gary Craig.
Founder and Chair of BADEP, a Bulgarian registered not-for-profit organization, she introduced international trainers in energy psychology to her home country. With the help from her trainers from UK she introduced quality EFT and Matrix Reimprinting training to psychologists, medical and homeopathy doctors and other helping professionals.
Member of AAMET International (Association for the Advancement of Meridian Energy Techniques), a UK Registered Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO).
Member of Guild of Energist, a UK Registered not-for-profit professional organisation.
A successful banker until 2009 Irena took the pioneering career in energy psychology in Bulgaria. Since then she had consulted more than 3000 people in individual and group sessions and trained more than 150 EFT practitioners from Bulgaria, Romania, Germany, Serbia, Spain and Turkey. Featured many times alone or with international speakers in the media and on TV in Bulgaria Irena actively promotes energy psychology, organises EFT and Matrix Reimprinting demonstrations and events, publishes EFT videos through her and BADEP’s YouTube channels. Because of her expert knowledge of terminology in both languages Irena facilitated the translation and publishing of books on energy psychology in Bulgarian.
Irena currently lives in Edinburgh, United Kingdom where she teaches EFT and Matrix Reimprinting. She contributes to local charities supporting family carers with pro-bono workshops on energy psychology, compassion fatigue and stress management.
Established in 2014 BULGARIAN ASSOCIATION FOR DEVELOPMENT OF ENERGY PSYCHOLOGY is a non-profit organization with the goal of introducing rules for teaching, certification of practitioners, professional code of ethics and continuing professional development to its members. The main focus of activity of the association is to bring the original energy psychology modalities to the Bulgarian public and to promote them as effective non-medical alternative for physical and emotional health by addressing psychosomatic symptoms. Through offering quality training and setting high practitioners standards BADEP works to implement the best professional practices in Bulgaria. BADEP is the Bulgarian representative for EFTMR Academy (UK). For the last five years BADEP facilitated international trainers to demonstrate and train in Bulgaria as well as promote energy psychology in the media.
